On December 19, under Article 100 of the RA Constitution and Article 41 of the RA Constitutional Law NA Rules of Procedure, at the initiative of the RA Government, on was convened by the initiator’s established agenda.

According to the decision adopted by the RA NA, at the NA extraordinary sitting eight legal acts will be debated in a special procedure: the debate of them in the second reading after the first reading will be held in 24 hours, allocating three hours to the debate of each of them.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan presented the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code and the package of enclosed bills in the first reading.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Suren Krmoyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Family Code and the package of the draft laws.

The RA Deputy Minister of Energy Sub-Structures and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan presented for debate the legislative package on Energy Saving and Restoring Energy in the first reading.

The RA Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Boris Demirkhanyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Law on State Duty.

The RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ashot Harutyunyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Local Self-Government.
